SOB Training Run #2

Our SOB Training Run #2 is Saturday, June 5. We'll meet at the Mt. Ashland parking lot around 7:45 AM and hit the trails at 8:00 AM.

We'll be checking out the first PCT miles of all four distances.

The PCT is mostly snow-free, with a few small drifts that are passable. We'll have several route options available depending on how far you want to go. Since we'll be primarily on the PCT, getting back to the start should be pretty easy. We'll start as a group, but you're welcome to run at your own pace.

Our longest route (16ish miles) will turn around at Siskiyou Gap. You'll then have the option to head back on the way you came, or hop on Road 20 for a little more of the course. For those of you doing the 50 mile or 100k race, you'll also have the option to summit Mt. Ashland and descend down the new Summit Trail to the finish (adds about 1 mile).

We'll have post-run drinks and snacks ready back at the parking lot.
